Would you like to have greater comfort on your upcoming flight? We offer you the possibility to apply for an upgrade, buy one beforehand or last minute, at the airport, to enjoy a premium experience.  

What do I get with an upgrade? 

On flights in Europe, you can upgrade to Business Class. On flights to and from Africa and North America, you can upgrade to Premium Economy Class and Business Class. Each travel class comes with its own service and premium experience.

Buy an upgrade in advance 

Secure your upgrade in a higher travel class in advance up to 24 hours before departure.  

To see if your flights are available for an upgrade, go to ‘My Booking’ and log in to view your flights. If an upgrade is possible, it will be shown automatically.  

The price for an upgrade depends on the route, your original booked fare and availability. The exact price can be found when you login to ‘My Booking’. 

If not all passengers in the booking need an upgrade, contact the ​Service Centre.

Buy an upgrade at the airport 

Have you decided on a last-minute upgrade? No problem. Simply talk to our staff at the check-in counter, gate or directly with the crew on board. They will check the last-minute availability for you. 

The price of the upgrade will depend on your original booked fare and availability. 

Good to know 

  • An upgrade allows you to enjoy a premium experience and priority service. However, the fare conditions and baggage allowance of your original ticket will continue to apply. 
  • The upgrade is applicable for your selected flight. Other flights within your booking for which you didn’t choose to upgrade will remain in the original booking class. 
  • Conditions for Fixed Price Upgrade bookings are based on the conditions of the originally booked fare, regarding the conditions for changing a booking and the baggage allowance. In case of voluntary cancellation, no refund of the Upgrade amount is possible.
  • You can change or cancel your bid up to 50 hours before your flight's scheduled departure, provided that your upgrade has not been accepted.  To do so, just click on the link in your bid confirmation email or log in using the above ​link. 
  • Once you've successfully received an upgrade, you can no longer cancel or transfer that upgrade. If you want to change your flight after your bid has been accepted, no refund for your bid is possible.
  • If your bid was unsuccessful, you can't place another bid for the same flight. 
  • If you've purchased a seat before upgrading your flight, you can request a refund of this seat reservation via our Service Centre.
