What to do in Zakynthos?

  1. The Keri Lighthouse is the ideal backdrop for a photo. The beautiful view at sunsets from atop these cliffs will take your breath away!

  2. The Monastery of Panagia Skopiotissa is probably the most beautiful monastery on the island. This picturesque little monument perched on a mountain is an astonishing sight. If you have not had your fill of religious monuments, you can also visit the Anafonitria Monastery, a small monastery full of charm. Inside are splendid frescoes and a statue of the Virgin that are still well preserved. Keep in mind that for conservation reasons, no photography is allowed inside.

  3. Agiou Markou Square is a lovely spot to spend an afternoon in the sun. This small square surrounded by delightful bars and restaurants is the perfect location for a break while sightseeing.

  4. Of course, there are many beaches and caves in Zakynthos that you won’t want to miss. At the top of the list is Porto Limnionas Cove.
