If you wish to order a meal for your little one, you can request one free of charge on all our long-haul flights and in Business Class on short-haul flights.
Which meals are served?
Type of meal Description Baby meal Up to 24 monthsOn most short-haul flights we serve a fruit-based baby meal that is sugar-, salt- and gluten-free. Pureed vegetables are also available on long-haul flights.Child meal 2-11 yearsA popular and balanced child meal without hot spices. For example, pasta Bolognese or meat balls with mashed potatoes.
How do I request a meal?
You can request your special meal online when booking your flight(s). If you haven’t selected your special meal during your booking, you can still order one the latest 48 hours before departure.
Child meals do not include any religious, dietary or vegetarian options. Should you require one of these options for your child, we advise you to request a special meal rather than a child meal.
You may bring your infant’s food for consumption on board, including formula milk and jars of baby food. At the security checkpoint, you may be asked to taste the food to prove that it is indeed baby food.
We recognise that there are passengers who are allergic to nuts, for example. Passengers are advised that we serve nut products on board and that there may be trace elements of unspecified nut ingredients in meals and snacks.
In addition, other passengers may bring nuts on board. As such, we're not able to guarantee a nut-free environment on a Brussels Airlines-operated flight.
