Nice is a scintillating city on the French coast with an Italian ambience and magnificent architecture.
The old centre of Nice is a major attraction for tourists. You can spend hours wandering through narrow alleys with beautiful old buildings, charming little shops and restaurants. Cours Saleya and the daily flower market always attract a lot of visitors. St. Réparate Cathedral and the churches of St. Jacques and St. François de Paule are also worth a visit. You can relax in the garden of Albert I, which was created in the middle of the 19th century.
But the main tourist attraction of Nice is, of course, the Promenade des Anglais. Other sights include the Russian Orthodox cathedral, the Boulevard de Cimiez and the Parc du Château. You can relax on Cap Ferrat, a small peninsula, and on one of Nice’s many beaches.
