San José is a very attractive city on the West Coast of the USA, offering a perfect mix of business and leisure.
San José, the capital of Silicon Valley, is situated in the valley of Santa Clara, which is not very far from San Francisco. Tourist attractions include Hakone Gardens, which is one of America’s authentic Japanese gardens, and Peralta Adobe, ruines from the first Spanish civil settlement in California.
Mexican Heritage Plaza, a cultural centre covering 55 square metres, with a magnificent theatre and La Galeria, a marvellous exhibition space, is certainly worth a visit. Another tourist attraction is the Egyptian Museum, which has the biggest collection of Egyptian art in the USA. Its architecture was inspired by the Temple of Amon in Karnak.
